Today we read Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening by Robert Frost (illustrated by Susan Jeffers). The illustrations are beautiful, and all of the kids really enjoyed it. After reading it through twice, Caleb then had to write his own poem about snow. Here it is: It's raining snow very near. Please come outside with me, please. The snow is very deep, It will always be that way. And, I hope that you say yes because it's snowing outside and you love snow..... and I do too. | |
