I am a thirty something SAHM of 5 children. This blog is a place where I can share the craziness that is my life. I love to be able to look back over the years and see what we were doing as a family and what I was thinking. It is a great thing to see how you grow and change over the years. Life is a journey...and each step changes and teaches us.
I am first and foremost a child of God. I will periodically post my thoughts on God's word and share what he is doing in my life. As a child I became a child of God and I am slowly trying to transform my life to one pleasing to the Lord.
I am a wife to a wonderful man. I felt led to start Loving My Husband Fridays...a place for us wives to focus on the blessing our husbands are to us. Every Friday I post something I love or appreciate about my husband...and ask others to join in as well. I really want to encourage women to focus on our marriages and our husbands. Along the same lines, each Tuesday I will post a challenge for Building our Marriages.
I am a mother. The kids are always doing something interesting. I wanted to have a place to preserve those precious memories...and give others something to smile at. Motherhood also teaches me a lot about myself and God. I want to be able to share what I am learning. I also try to pass on simple things we can do with our families to have fun!
We are a homeschooling family, so I also use this blog as a place to discuss curriculum, homeschooling in general, and share my kids' accomplishments.
I am a homemaker. I have a lot to learn in this area, but I want to be able to pass on what I have learned and am learning. I will use this blog as a place to post my families favorite recipes.
I am a lover of photography. I will post photos of my family and God's creation. I also am trying to become a better photographer and will use this blog to enter contest and try new things.
I am a reader. I will post book reviews of books I've read and enjoyed.
This is an eclectic blog...a place to share all aspects of my life with those I love and care about, those I don't know, and the future me.
