The Blurb contest at I Heart Faces reminded me of my love for Blurb books. With the birth of my first child I became an avid scrapbooker. But, as more children joined our family I had less and less time to scrapbook. I had piles of pictures but little time to scrap. I tried digital scrapping for awhile, but I had lots of pages stored in my computer and never printed them out. (Unfortunately, my computer crashed and I lost it all). Then I heard of Blurb books. You download the software onto your computer and upload the finished product when you are all done. I started using it in 1997 and created a book with the photos from the year. I've done many books since then, and have about 5 in progress right now.
They are high quality books and you can get hardback or paperback. The prices are very reasonable as well.
There are many pre loaded templates for the pages. All you have to do is put your photos in and add text.
You can also use digital scrapbook pages like the one below.
You can keep your books private or make them public and sell them. There's just so many options. I love my blurb books!!!
