In His Word Wednesday

Psalm 121

5 The Lord is your protector;

the Lord is the shade at your right hand.

6 The sun will not harm you by day,

or the moon by night.

7  The Lord will protect you from all harm

he will protect your life.

8 The Lord will protect you in all you do,

now and forevermore.

I would like to ask for continued prayer for my Mother-in-law.  She had a good day yesterday, but is still critically ill.   We are very excited about her small progresses . . . but are trying to take it one day at a time.

I'd also like prayer for all my kids.  My oldest is at camp this week.  His wonderful aunt (thanks Megan!!) dropped him off because we were down at the hospital.  I'm sure he's having a great time - but it's even harder to have him away when I wasn't able to drop him off!  O.K. . . . maybe Mom's the one that needs prayer!  This is the third week my girls have been away from us.  My Mom (Thanks Mom!!!) is watching them, and even though they love being with Nanny, they are ready to just be home with Mom and Dad.  Josiah, on top of missing Mom and Dad, got 5 stitches on Sunday.  He is doing well and was very brave - but, once again, it's really hard on me to not be there with him when he's hurting.  This has been really hard on the whole family!

  1. I can't even imagine how hard these weeks have been on you and the whole family.

    Still praying -- PTL for the good day she had!
    thanks for linking!

  2. Excited about the unexpected progress she is making, and praying it only continues! I'm continuing to pray for you as you have been away from your kids through all of this. I know exactly how that feels! I pray that Norrie will now recover so quickly that you will be able to begin to bring your family life back into some normalcy again, and get back with your babies!!

Let me know what you're thinking!!
