I ♥ Faces -Photojournalism

This week's theme for I Heart Faces is Photojournalism.   They are defining photojournalism as Using an image (or images) to tell a story.

Even though I think most photos tell a story of some sort,  I really don't have any in a photojournalistic style.    I found this one from last summer, though, and love the story it's telling.   My whole family had gone out to eat.   You can see everyone else ordered a normal entree.   My sister wanted pizza.   So . . . she ordered a whole large pizza all for herself!    She looks like she's taking part in one of those eating challenges.  I love the expressions on everyone's faces!   (And no . . . she didn't eat the whole thing!!!).

Adding on . . .

With the addition on the way to the family, we decided we needed a little more space in our little house.   We looked into moving, but with the housing market issues, we decided adding on was a better way to go.    So, our house has been a construction zone since the middle of July.   We're getting close to being done . . . hopefully just a couple more weeks.

We extended our half bath into a full bath.   Through the doorway is MY walk-in closet!!  I'm excited about this area!:

We're also doing a small remodel in the kitchen.   Hopefully in the next couple weeks I'll be posting pictures of the finished project!

First Day of School!

Today was our first day of school!   We started the day with breakfast at a local coffee shop.   Then we hit the books.   Three out of the four had a great first day . . . we won't talk about the fourth.   Here are their first day pictures (I think you can tell from the pictures who had the bad day!).
