  • He's talking a lot.  His favorite thing to say right now is, "I don't like it."  We hear this all day long when you ask him do do something he doesn't want to do.  One night when he didn't want to sleep, I had to hear, "I don't like this pillow", "I don't like this blanket."  My favorite, though, is when he says, "Mom, I lub you.", which he does frequently and spontaneously.
  • He loves cars, trucks, and trains.
  • He likes to sit on the couch and rock as hard as he can.  Then, he says, "Mom, I go fast."  I was a little worried about this behavior, because it seemed kind of odd.  Then one day he was rocking on his rocking horse and said, "Mom, couch."  I asked him if that's what he does on the couch, and he said yes.   We always ask him why he's doing it while he's rocking, so I guess that was his way of explaining it to me!
  • He loves Mickey Mouse and all his friends.  This started even before we went to Disney World (which definitely made Disney more fun).
  • He can count to 11 (but sometimes starts at 7 ... or 8 ... or 9)
  • He has a great sense of humor ... he makes silly little jokes and laughs at things are funny at just the right time.
  • He loves to throw things ... often things he shouldn't be throwing.
  • He loves cuties and bananas and cheese sticks ... and candy and cookies and Dad's pop
  • He loves his big brothers and sisters ... and loves to boss them around.  He and Sarah get along really well most of the time and love to play together.
  • When he isn't feeling well, he has to be in constant contact with me.  Day or night.  Sleeping in my bed isn't good enough for him, he has to physically be touching me.
  • He's lots of fun and I'm trying to savor every moment ... I know two will be gone in a blink of an eye.
